HOW IT WORKS
AXIS replaces the stock DJI plastic backplate with a precision-machined rear balancing system.
Interchangeable weights securely attach to the rear of the plate, allowing the operator to fine-tune the balance depending on the lens and filter setup being used.
This gives the camera a more neutral balance point before operation, reducing the amount of work required from the gimbal motors.

AXIS is a direct replacement backplate for the DJI X9-Air Camera, designed to help operators precisely balance a wide range of lens configurations, with and without ND filters.
By moving adjustable weight to the rear of the camera, AXIS allows the gimbal to operate within its optimum balance range. The result is improved stability during demanding movements, reduced motor load, and less unnecessary heat during operation.
WHY BALANCE MATTERS
The DJI X9 is a powerful camera and gimbal system, but different lenses, filters, and accessories can quickly shift the balance point of the camera.
When the gimbal is not correctly balanced, the motors have to work harder to hold position and react to movement. This can affect stability, especially during fast direction changes, high-speed moves, or challenging operating conditions.
